Nothing like wading through 14 years of archives for references.That said, I will not deny that when I very first put Regina's appearance in the comic 14 years ago I had not much in the way of character plans for her. She was meant to be a passing figure in a memory. But both her and Abel sparked a lot of curiosity which is why I ended up sitting down and working out their respective side stories for the old side story war I did way back when. But even with Regina losing, having spent all the time working on that concept it ended up being a thing of her ending up more involved in the main comic.
Its funny how that happens sometimes.
