This is one of those updates that will likely pre-empt a bigger page due to anytime things start to become more serious and less punchline filled I have an instinctual need to add extra panels to compensate. That and I dislike spending multiple weeks on serious notes if possible or leaving things on very dramatic cliffhangers save for well, the cliffhanger of waiting on an update.
