I know some folks may feel trying to teach an angry barely sentient creature to play chess seems somewhat unrealistic in a fictional world full of wacky animal folks...but having talked to some of my friends who enjoy chess, most all of them agree that sometimes it is so difficult to find a person to play with them that they would gladly try to teach their pets if they thought for a second it would work.As an aside, I want to thank everyone for your kind words and sympathies during this week. It really meant a lot to me and words can never really express how much it all helped during this rough time. You guys are really beyond wonderful. For the most part a lot of the mourning has gotten out of my system and while I do have times where it just hits, it's been getting better and I find getting back into the swing of things just helps to feel normal. I am going to do my best to keep the updates going.
