About the Strip
#1655: Last Straw. Exit stage left.
When I was in high school, I ended up in a situation where I had no television. Which then followed me through college and then by the time I graduated I had more or less adapted to a life where I didn't really have any desire to watch tv.However a side effect of that is, whenever a tv is on, I find it beyond distracting and really hard to focus because the flashing images keep distracting me...where as most folks like to just have shows and stuff as background noise. How folks can work on things and idly watch shows at the same time is a form of wizardry to me. As I find myself completely absorbed by it, even though I'd much rather do anything but watch it.
