Truth be I never have much issues with re-imaginings of things. I think if anything that being a part of the TMNT fandom as a kid, it taught me pretty hard and fast if you love something, you have to just embrace the parts of it that you love and not get too bent out of shape about the parts that annoy you. Find the good, shrug off the bad. Otherwise the rage will destroy you and the thing you love apart.
