One of the best thing about scene changes it is helps the creator keep things focused on multiple groups so that it doesn't possibly feel too boring or dragging along and so you don't end up in a scenario where folks write in asking about whatever happened to so and so since they hadn't been seen in months real world time despite the comic time only being a single day.One of the worst thing about scene changes is it can still run the risk of folks going "wait what? Where were we in this particular situation again?" and have to backtrack to remember half the folks involved.
